CHEMICAL EQUIPMENT

 Here is the list of chemical equipment used in our experiments:

               1.  BEAKER

Made from glass with a flat bottom and a little spout for pouring. Created for measuring of liquids' amount.

2. ERLENMEYER FLASK

Container in the form of cone with stopper at the head. Used for mixing and measuring liquids.

3. EVAPORATING DISH

Dishes made from glass with small spout from one side. Used for steadily heating substances. Also used for the evaporation of solutions.

4. STIRRING ROD

A glass stick. Used for mixing substances.

                                                       5. GRADUATED CYLINDER

Made from glass. Used for measuring substance amount precisely. Is also  used for calculating the density of something if the mass is known.

6. FUNNEL

Glass or plastic cone. Used for moving substance from one jar to another. With filter paper, can also be used for filtering solutions.

 7. MAGNETIC STIRRER

An appliance which creates magnetic field. Used for mixing substances.
